SEANI Asian Community

Happy 58th Asean Day
SEANI is proud to celebrate alongside our fellow founder members, growing members, and friends as we mark ASEAN's incredible journey. This year's theme, "Towards an Inclusive and Sustainable ASEAN Future", inspires us to build a community where everyone belongs and futures are bright.
Though SEANI is new, our mission is clear: to celebrate, connect, and unite ASEAN communities, while fostering meaningful relationships with Irish society and beyond.
"Starting SEANI at this meaningful time reminds us that every beginning holds the promise of unity and progress. Together, we can build an ASEAN future that is truly inclusive and sustainable." — Hilda Arenas, Founder & Chair, SEANI
We look forward to embarking on this exciting journey together!
SEANI Asian Community

We would like to share the good news about the official launch of SEANI – Southeast Asian Network Ireland, a community initiative aimed at celebrating Southeast Asian culture and building strong connections within the Irish community.
We are proud to inform you that Indonesia is actively participating in SEANI, represented by Irene Murphy (Indonesia) who serves as Secretary in the founding team and Linda O'Mahony as Country Lead Indonesia.
SEANI consists of representatives from the Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar and Indonesia, and works closely with Irish and international communities.
SEANI is built on three main pillars:
Celebrate: Celebrating the rich culture, traditions, and creativity of Southeast Asia
Connect: Connecting communities through events, dialogue, and shared experiences
Unite: Strengthening ties between Southeast Asian communities, Irish society and the international community
We sincerely appreciate the support and involvement of the Indonesian Embassy and the Indonesian community in Ireland in this effort.
