Gamelan Ensembles

In 2014, Dr. Peter Moran on behalf The National Concert Hall, had the privileged to receive the wonderful gift of a full Gamelan from the Sultan of Yogyakarta. Gamelans of such distinguished and auspicious origins usually receive a blessing and name when they leave their maker's workshop.

Our Gamelan has been named Kyai Jati Roso. Kyai is an honorific bestowed upon important or sacred artefacts, and Jati Roso translates as 'pure consciousness'

This fascinating instrument from Indonesia consists of a variety of gongs, bells, xylophone-type sections, and produces a wonderfully magical sound.

Jessica Ivana

Professional Singer | Live Performer | Event Vocalist

Singing has always held a special place in my heart.
Growing up, I was surrounded by the sound of my mum's voice singing around the house and at various events. Her passion inspired me, and I found myself turning to YouTube, soaking up techniques from different singers and learning by watching and listening.

As a naturally shy child, I didn't realise how much I enjoyed singing until middle school, when I joined a vocal group and we won the annual Christmas competition, twice! That experience lit a spark in me, and my singing journey began.

Some highlights of my singing journey include:

  • Aubade Choir for Indonesian Independence Day 2009 at Istana Merdeka

  • Winner – SCTV Online Singing Competition (2016)
Prize: Virtual performance & meet-and-greet with Afgan Syahreza, live on SCTV

  • Winner – Accenture Dublin Christmas Online Singing Competition (2020)

  • Performer – Accenture UK & Ireland Awards Event (2022) (online)

Each moment has been a step forward, not just in singing, but in finding my voice, literally and metaphorically.

From the quiet hills of Ruteng to the vibrant stages of Bali…

My musical journey began in 1999, just after high school, when I first stepped into the world of live performance as a wedding singer. But it was in 2004, with a heart full of dreams and a suitcase full of songs, that I moved to Bali—a place that pulses with rhythm, soul, and endless inspiration.

There, I joined a band and later founded my own, shaping a sound that blends passion, harmony, and heartfelt storytelling. From intimate cafés to grand hotel stages, every performance has been a celebration of life, love, and music.

🎶 Musical Style

My voice carries the colors of pop, the rawness of rock and alternative, the groove of funk, the sway of reggae, the emotion of blues, and the smoothness of jazz. Each song I sing tells a story—infused with soul, sincerity, and connection.

🌟 Performance Highlights

I've had the honor of performing at some of Bali's most iconic venues and events, including:

  • Seminyak Resort Hotel Bali

  • Zappas Bar & Resto Bali
  • Vi Ai Pi Bar & Restaurant Bali
  • Centerstage – Hard Rock Hotel Bali
  • Hard Rock Café Bali
  • Billy's Restaurant Bali
  • Lucky Day Bar & Restaurant Bali
  • The Champlung Restaurant Bali
  • Sand Bar & Restaurant Bali
  • TVRI Event – Komunitas Musisi Bali
  • New Year's Eve – Intercontinental Hotel Bali
  • Bali Hai Cruise Entertainment

Through every lyric and melody, I strive to create a connection—turning moments into memories and stages into stories. I sing not just to be heard, but to be felt.

Sanggar Tari Indonesia

Sanggar Tari Indonesia was founded by Cito and Yanti, who share a passion for celebrating Indonesian culture through dance. They had met not long before, but it was through Erna that they got to know each other better and decided to start the group. With Erna's invaluable support as our advisor, the journey began.

Cito and Erna had performed together previously with dancers like Elisa, Mona, Rika, and Lisa. Yanti, new to Dublin, brings fresh energy and experience she's excited to share.

Their first performance as a group was at the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Gorey. Since then, more dancers have joined, and the group continues to grow.

Interested in joining?

Feel free to contact Cito or Yanti—no experience needed. Let's learn and grow together!
